Heading to the Market

After a sunny start to the year the weather is back to its usual cloudiness and drizzle. But it’s my day off and I won’t let it dampen my day, so I’m grabbing my umbrella and wellies and I’m heading out anyway.
Today I crossed the Granville bridge and wandered around Granville Island. The Island was originally an industrial wasteland but has been transformed into an urban oasis with restaurants, theatres, galleries, studios, unique shops, and a fresh food market.
