Pacific Spirit Regional Park

Since we arrived in Vancouver we have been meaning to check out the campus of the University of British Columbia (UBC) which is located within the University Endowment Lands, about 6.2 miles from Downtown Vancouver. And so on Sunday, deciding we should get some exercise, we walked from our apartment to the campus and home again, which we think must be about 14 miles! It’s safe to say we were pretty tired when we got home.
To get to UBC we walked through the neighbourhood of Kitsilano and into the Pacific Spirit Regional Park. The park’s forests stretch across Point Grey separating the city from UBC, its a beautiful area that offers a network of trails that are open all year round as well as almost 5 miles of long sandy beaches.

That’s right ‘clothing optional’ so no photos of this beach, but we did see some bare bums!
