Greenway

Every year for four days in September Heritage Open Days celebrates England’s fantastic architecture and culture by offering free admission to their properties and gardens.
If this is the first you’ve heard about it, don’t worry you still have Sunday to take advantage of this event. You can find out what properties are taking part near you here.

I love exploring heritage buildings and I think this event provides a great excuse to visit somewhere I haven’t been to before. This year we decided to visit the very popular Greenway in South Devon, which was the holiday home of the famous and much loved author Agatha Christie.
